Our Borehole Maintenance team attended to leakages along the Eldas-Anole water supply scheme. This is a bid to curb losses of water through leakages and breakages from both water pressure and destruction.

Wajir currently losses 45% of the water produced as Non-Revenue water(NRW). The company sets its eyes in reducing the NRW to the recommended 25% by the Water Services Regulatory Board. This will therefore help in closing the supply and demand gap without the need to build costly infrastructure or exploit new water sources.

The team will also attend to leakages of pipes in Khorof Harar as from tomorrow.
